FAQs

47% of marketers are using AI tools for content writing. Whether you're a student or a free blogger, you've likely used AI tools at some point for your essays or blog posts. While there's no issue with using AI tools, using AI content for the web can be quite negative, as Google penalizes low-value AI content.

And recently, a platform called Aithor is gaining popularity to solve this very problem. It claims to convert your AI content into human content, with human personalization, and this will allow your content to easily bypass AI detectors.

I have tested many AI writing tools in my career, and since last month, many of my friends have been asking about the accuracy and readability of this platform, so I thought, why not give it a practical test?

So in today's article, we'll explore the core features, pricing, pros and cons of the Aithor platform, along with its real-time accuracy). This will help us determine whether the hype surrounding this platform is genuine or overhyped.

Quick Summary

By 2025, 58% of companies will use AI tools for content creation because they significantly save them time and staff costs. Furthermore, AI tools are also very beginner-friendly, making them easy to use even for beginners.

If AI tools are used ethically, they are very useful for productivity, but many people use AI tools for mass content production, using LLMs like ChatGPT and Gemini for content creation. Such content violates Google's (EEAT) policy, resulting in loss of traffic and rankings. To address this issue, a new platform called Aithor is gaining popularity in the market, offering features ranging from tone customization to changes in content quality.

Our focus in this article:

  1. What is the Aithor platform and how does it work?
  2. What kind of users use Aithor?
  3. What are the pros, cons, and pricing of the Aithor platform?
  4. How do you finally choose the best AI writing tool?
  5. Practical Test: We'll test the Aithor platform's content through top AI detectors to understand its true accuracy.

What is Aithor?

Aithoris an AI writing assistant for students, bloggers, and others. It helps you write everything from essays and articles to literature reviews and even research papers with a few clicks.

At first glance, it feels like a simplified version of BypassAI.io and ChatGPT, except for the ability to choose tone, a word count with a slider, and a "disguise" mode, allegedly to help "humanize" your AI-generated text and to help you pass AI detectors.

On first sign-in, Aithor had a clean, simple interface. You'll see a few key features on the homepage,

  • Pick your article type, like essay, article, research, etc
  • Then choose the slider to adjust your word count
  • Choose your tone, like formal, casual, or creative.
  • Then tap "Disguise" to humanize your AI text

This is a pretty straightforward concept; the app works for people who want easy results without the hassle of figuring out prompts. However, as I kept testing, I noticed a couple of limitations that impacted the overall user experience, which we will discuss in this article.

Feature Overview: Advantages & Disadvantages

Let us understand the top features of the Athor platform and its advantages and disadvantages.

1. User-Friendly

Aithor's main advantage is its user-friendliness. You won't need to elaborate on any prompts or understand prompt engineering. You just have to pick, and Aithor creates content in seconds.

This is a huge relief for novice users and simplifies the interface without confusion or over-complication.

However, as a reviewer, I appreciate the ability to customise, but I found it too restrictive. You can't exercise precise output controls or tell Aithor how to create your content. There is a "Refine" button, but it does this automatically with no sense of what it is actually refining.

Pros:

  • You will find a Clear, intuitive interface
  • They provide quick response generation
  • Good, especially for non-tech people

Cons:

  • Their final output needs minimal customization
  • You will get a lack of clarity in refinement
  • No option to detail what to refine

2. Tone Customization & Quality

Aithor provides tone presets, including formal, casual, descriptive, and analytical. But does it actually produce varied writing styles? Not really.

When I used Aithor and prompted a task like, "Write an analytical essay on company compensation policies," it provided a sleep-decent academic tone.

When I then simply switched to the "casual" tone, the revisions were negligible, which points to a problem we've also identified with several AI tools: tone presets typically don't affect the rhythm of sentences or phrasing or emotional tone, but only impact superficiality and a degree of formality.

For example:

"Companies should adopt flexible compensation policies to ensure employees will be satisfied." It is nearly identical across tones.

What I feel: The tone is a present feature that is also thin. It works well enough if you're a student creating essays, but it isn't versatile enough for frequent use by bloggers, marketers, or storytellers.

3. "Disguise" Mode - The AI Bypass Feature

This is the key promise of Aithor, a feature that "disguises" AI-generated content and makes it undetectable by AI detectors such as GPTZero, Copyleaks, or ZeroGPT.

I have tested many AI bypass tools on a consistent basis, so I decided to evaluate this feature. I created 500 words of content using 'Disguise' under Aithor and submitted it through Originality, BypassAi, and Copyleaks. You will find the final results in the next headings.

Thus, although the disguise mode does indeed change the structure and flow, it does not always get around the detectors. The output still has a tinge of "AI-ness," and particularly in long paragraphs, the sentence rhythm becomes slightly repetitive.

If you want a greater quality of humanization, I recommend using BypassAI.io or Undetectable.ai, which are far superior then this platform.

4. Content Quality

When we look at the actual output, Aithor does a fair job, but doesn't excel. It produces decent, grammatically correct content, but can be quite generic.

I tested a variety of scenarios, academic essays, creative writing, and blog-style writing, and I found that the content mostly fits an academic voice. It really struggles to create a creative narrative or any sense of emotion.

Even with the refinements, the output is still structured, but not very engaging, almost like a student essay template.

Best-suited for:

  • Academic writing or research
  • Report-style writing or essays
  • Blog drafts are expected to be refined by a human

Not-suited for:

  • Copywriting, storytelling, emotional writing
  • I will not recommend you for SEO-style web content
  • Professional marketing articles

Pricing

Aithor provides two subscription plans, the Free plan and the Monthly Premium plan The free plan will give you restricted access to fundamental capabilities, while the paid plan will give you unlimited generation, AI disguise, and the ability to access new updates early.

1. Free Plan $0/month

The free plan should be beneficial for first-time users who want to test out how Aithor works before determining they want to upgrade.

It is important to note, however, that it has strict limitations on the amount of content you can generate and edit.

The free plan includes:

  • Limited content generation
  • Limited AI editing capabilities
  • The ability to create & edit the table of contents
  • Tone of voice selection in formal, casual, analytical, etc.
  • Usage queue, wait time in between generations.
  • No AI disguise capability
  • No access to new experimental tools

The Free plan is enough for testing out Aithor's interface and speed, but not enough for serious academic or professional use.

2. Monthly Plan - $16.25/month (or $18 regular price)

The Premium plan packs in Aithor's full potential. This version allows you to write as much as you're able without limitations, as well as try the most advertised feature, AI Disguise, which is designed to provide your text a more human-like style that cannot be detected by AI scanning.

The features you get:

  • Unlimited content generation
  • Unlimited AI editing and refining
  • Table of contents creation & editing
  • Tones of voice selection are formal, descriptive, creative, etc.
  • No queue is instant generation, no wait time
  • AI Disguise feature included
  • Early access to new features & updates

This plan makes sense if you are a regular user, especially a student or content creator who is writing multiple essays/reports each week.

Use Cases & Target Audience

At the onset of testing Aithor, I was interested to learn who the tool was really aimed at servicing. Every AI writing tool has its own market advantages, with some aimed at students, others at marketers, and so forth, for example, professional writers.

After using Aithor for a few days, making use of its tone settings and content quality and disguise mode, etc., it became clear that the application is designed to serve a clear type of user; individuals wanting simple writing and pre-structured writing, with no real amount of creativity.

1. Students and Academic Writers

If you're a student who regularly juggles multiple assignments as well as essays or research papers, Aithor can actually be a helpful tool in your life.

It comes pre-built academically by design, meaning that it knows what it should logically organise thoughts, use transition words, and maintain formality.

Where It Helps

  • It will help you in Writing essays, papers, and literature reviews.
  • Summarizing extensive academic sources.
  • You can use it for creating a research outline or abstracts.
  • Drafting arguments, or analytical responses.

However, there is a caveat. The disguise mode, the mode that could help disguise AI detection, is helpful, but it only works sometimes. So, while Aithor can help you make a great draft, you will still need to manually humanize the words or use a rewriter similar to bypassai.io.

My Recommendation: Aithor is great for students and researchers who want a draft for a starting point, but not what they will be submitting. It is a great tool to save time writing, not to edit genuine work or originate your own ideas.

2. Bloggers and Content Creators

Aithor is a great tool for bloggers or new writers who just need a way to get over writer's block. It can help you generate blog ideas, outlines, and even drafts in minutes.

You can quickly generate:

  • Blog introductions
  • Informational paragraphs
  • Explanatory text for tutorial or listicle posts

Let's say you have a blog focused on productivity or education. You could ask Aithor to generate "an article about time management for students," and then it will provide you with a logical structure, formatting content into subheadings and bullet lists.

However, there is a drawback. Aithor does not have a good comprehension or understanding of SEO or audience tone. The program just does not naturally place relevant keywords into the content, nor does it write with heartfelt connections.

The content reads like a standard formal article before it engages an audience in the blog era.

Although this tool is great for creating an outline of ideas, content, or drafts, you will need to ease the tone to make it a better story flow.

My Recommendation: Perfect for Bloggers needing a way to escape writer's block or wanting to save time initially drafting. Aithor is not the best option for a fully prepared or SEO story.

3. Freelancers and Content Rewriters

If you are a freelance writer or rewriter who is working on large orders, Aithor can shorten the time it takes to complete your drafts.

The "Disguise" functionality allows for slight alterations to AI-generated content to make it appear less robotic, and saves time on manual rewriting.

I think the disguise function is not foolproof, so I wouldn't put all my trust into it for assignments that are supposed to be plagiarism-free or to convince detector tools that it is original. But it's fairly reliable for general paraphrasing, to rewrite blog paragraphs, or to improve drafts for clients.

My Recommendation: This one is useful if you are rewiring and you want to restructure content quickly, but it still requires tools like Quillbot or BypassAI.io to use effectively.

4. Educators with Academic Coach

This one is surprising. Aithor can generate sample essays, mock tests, or topic explanation-type writing for teachers or coaches as well.

The writing style is formatted and geared towards academics, and allows for authorship of examples that students can derive learning from.

For example, say you are having students write an essay, or want to teach about academic structure, you can have Aithor write some quick argumentative or analysis essays that demonstrate paragraph flow and establish reasoning patterns.

My Recommendation: It's really best to use it as an aid to your instruction, not in place of your instruction. You will still need to manually edit some of it.

5. Business Professionals and Report Writing

Aithor is also capable of offering basic professional writing assistance, such as:

  • Internal reports
  • Summaries
  • Descriptive business papers

Once you opt for a "formal" tone, it structures itself in a professional manner - clear, concise, and non-partisan.

However, it's not a great fit for marketing materials, copywriting, or branded communications due to its lack of persuasive tone and emotional weight.

So if you're an HR executive writing a policy draft or a manager summarizing a proposal for the business, Aithor can handle it.

My Recommendation: If you're writing for social ads or email campaigns, you're going to want to work with something more sophisticated, such as Jasper or Writesonic.

6. Non-Native English Speakers

The other population that can take advantage of Aithor is non-native English writers who can struggle with grammar or consistency of tone.

Because it instantiates each sentence in an academic-friendly, grammatically correct way, it can be a great confidence booster.

Writers from countries such as India, Nigeria, or the Philippines can use Aithor to create clean, readable English text - especially for academic or professional writing.

Moreover, it aids users in how to create coherence between paragraphs, which is a common area of struggle for ESL writers.

My Recommendation: Aithor is great for improving sentence structure and fluency of the English language, but will still require manual tweaks.

7. Researchers and Academics

The Aithor's analytic written voice is specifically suited for researchers. If you're writing literature reviews, summaries, or academic evaluations, the service will help you prepare a paragraph for your intended purpose.

The AI is not intended for collecting and generating new research data; however, it is very good at explaining a concept or writing a paragraph based upon a set of notes or studies.

My Recommendation: If your institution utilizes strict AI detection systems, like Copyleaks or Turnitin, I strongly suggest using a humanization tool after an Aithor-generated paragraph, because Aithor's ability to bypass is not reliable enough to ensure full safety.

Let's be realistic, not every form of writer is going to be able to find value with Aithor.

Here is who does not need to experience Aithor:

  • SEO experts: It doesn't design content based upon search intent and isn't search term density aware.
  • Creative storytellers: Aithor's style feels highly formulaic, and does not carry or rhyme an emotional cadence.
  • Copywriters: If you are a copywriter or need good-quality content which follows EEAT, I recommend not using this platform.
  • Journals: The writing also isn't fact-checked and doesn't adhere to any level of journalistic writing standard.

As I experienced, I can say Aithor is not made for creativity, it is made for formatting.

My Own Experience Conclusion

Having tried it personally in a variety of ways, I feel comfortable saying Aithor has the feeling of a smart assistant for content creation, and not a replacement for human creativity.

If you are a student, teacher or researcher, you'll love how it works due to its speed and simplicity. But, if you are a marketer, copywriter, or content strategist, I have no doubt you will quickly find the limitations of Aithor.

Testing Against AI Detectors

To know the accuracy of the content of the Aithor platform, we have to check the content of this platform with top AI detectors, so that we can know about the real accuracy.

3. Step: Results

Bypass AI: When we checked Humanize content of Aithor platform in the BypassAi detector, then we got 100% AI output, which means Aithor platform cannot bypass BypassAi. You can use this platform for your impossible content texts.

Copyleaks: When we checked Aithor's humanised content on this platform, we got 100% AI results, which means this platform cannot bypass the Copyleaks AI detector.

Quilbot: While this platform is known for its writing and grammar features, the accuracy of the Quilbot AI detector is not that good, as we got results of 0% AI and 100% human content.

Writer: The Writer platform also could not detect Aithor's humanized content, and it returned 100% human content in the results.

Originality AI: According to the Originality AI detector, 93% of the content is human-written and 7% is AI, which are false positive results.

Top Alternatives to Aithor

If your main objective is to make AI text more humanlike and to evade AI detectors, below are five worthwhile alternatives I have tested along with Aithor:

1. BypassAI.io

BypassAI.io is the best alternative to Aithor because it actually bypasses AI detectors.

The platform employs a multi-layer rewriting mechanism, altering the rhythm, sentence patterns, and vocabulary while avoiding altering the meaning.

In my testing, BypassAI.io Humanizer received 95-100% human scores in GPTZero, Copyleaks, and ZeroGPT.

It is also highly SEO friendly, retains readability, and works perfectly for bloggers, students, and agencies looking to publish humanized AI content with confidence.

Key Features:

  • It has great bypass accuracy
  • It provides real-time rewriting
  • Maintains natural readability
  • Affordable pricing plans
  • Inbuilt AI detection support.

My Opinion: If you want AI text that passes every detection test, BypassAI.io is currently the best option.

Best For: Bloggers, Students and Publishers can prefer this platform.

2. Quillbot

Although Quillbot is best known for its paraphraser, it also has a detection and a rewriter that create more fluent-sounding content. However, it is geared more to improve grammar and clarity than to actually try to bypass detection as other AIs do. Nonetheless, the Quillbot rewritter combined with BypassAI.io gives solid human-sounding text with fluid readability.

Best for: Academic rewriting and correcting tone clarity.

3. ZeroGPT AI

ZeroGPT is primarily a testing tool, not a writer, but it is excellent to test how detectable your AI content is. For example, if you're using Aithor or ChatGPT as your writing tool, you can introduce their output into ZeroGPT and test the "AI probability," or you can also Humanize it to an extent.

Best for: Testing authenticity before you hand anything in.

4. Copyleaks AI

Copyleaks is another reputable AI detection site that is widely used throughout universities and companies. It is incredibly accurate at detecting AI text generated from any GPT AI model. And Copyleaks platform also provides an AI rewriting feature, which you can use to Humanize your content.

If you are using the writing tool Aithor, a free writing tool. It's a good idea to test your work in Copyleaks to see how strict their detection system is, since their detection system is among the strictest.

Best for: Marketers, Publishers, Professors and Bloggers

5. Grammarly AI

Grammarly AI-generated detection and rewriting tool can help enhance the quality of writing and make it appear more human.

While it does not directly bypass detection, Grammarly assists in improving flow, tone, and readability, all of which reduce the likelihood of triggering AI detection.

Best for: Editing and polishing drafts that have already been generated by AI.

Conclusion

We have tried to understand the Aithor platform very well and in this platform you get access to all the important tools related to copywriting, but the biggest problem with this platform is accuracy, you can use it for basic tasks and academic content, but if your profession is publishing or blogging then you should not use the content generated from this platform, because this content will be low from SEO perspective and readability will also be poor. And such content can never bypass AI detectors.

If you require high-quality and accurate humanized content, then you can choose BypassAi platform, in which you get inbuilt AI detection and Humanization features.

My Recommendation: If you want long-term growth, then I would advise you not to use AI-generated content; instead, use AI tools for ideation or drafting and write the writing yourself so that it can fulfil Google's EEAT guidelines.
